About PlotPacer
Built in Ireland for Irish self-builders
If you are self-building in Ireland, you already know the feeling: dozens of parallel threads — lender drawdowns, BCAR inspections, supplier lead times, VAT receipts — and no single place where they meet without spreadsheets fraying at the edges.
I started PlotPacer because I wanted one calm workspace for the money story and the schedule story at the same time: what you planned, what you committed, what you actually spent, and what the bank still expects before the next tranche. Not another glossy brochure app — something I could trust on a Tuesday night when the QS emails land.
How we think about the product
PlotPacer skews toward serious hobbyists and owner-managers who are willing to enter real numbers. The job is to reduce surprise: missed checklist items before a drawdown, drift between budget categories, documents scattered across email threads. If that matches how you work, you are the audience.
AI and regulations
The assistant can summarise Irish guidance snippets you already store or that we ingest into the corpus, and suggest wording for emails — always as a starting point you review. It does not replace your engineer, BER assessor, solicitor, or lender. When in doubt, hire the professional; the software’s job is to keep your paperwork organised while you do.
Indie, not infinite runway
PlotPacer is a small, founder-led product. That means tight feedback loops and fast fixes when something annoys you — and it also means we choose scope deliberately. We ship features when they are genuinely useful on a live site, not when a slide deck says so.
