Data deletion instructions

PlotPacer is operated by Michael Maloney (Ireland). This page explains how to request deletion of personal data we hold about you, including data linked through WhatsApp or other integrations.
1. Delete your PlotPacer account (recommended)
If you have a PlotPacer login, the fastest way to erase your data is self-service account deletion:
- Sign in at plotpacer.ie/login.
- Open Delete account (also linked from the site footer when signed in).
- Enter your current password, type DELETE, and confirm.
This permanently removes your login, projects, uploaded files, AI conversation history, WhatsApp link registrations, and billing linkage in our application database. If you have an active paid subscription we attempt to cancel it in Stripe first.
Before deleting, you may download a summary export from your data export page while logged in.
2. Remove WhatsApp linking only
To stop routing WhatsApp messages into PlotPacer without deleting your whole account, open WhatsApp setup while logged in and choose Remove link on your registered number.
3. Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the address registered on your account. Include:
- Your full name
- The email address on your PlotPacer account
- A clear statement that you want your account and personal data deleted
We verify ownership before erasing data and respond within 30 days (GDPR).
4. Data removed and legal retention
When deletion is completed, personal data is removed from our active systems and is not recoverable.
We may retain limited records where required by law (for example tax or fraud-prevention obligations) or anonymised analytics that cannot identify you. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
